What began as a design exercise for a long-time friend, who happened to be a tattoo artist, quickly evolved into something more.

Our Story
Our Designers, with many years of creative 3D and 2D experience, together with equally experienced Tattoo artists and their studio, developed each part of the modular system; then reworked it; tweaked it; changed it and came to the iterations that you see today.
We’re proud of what we’ve achieved, with collaboration and imagination, and even more excited for what our partnership with creative artists from the tattoo and PMC industry can deliver.
What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it.
We take time to understand and explore. We create attractive, functional systems, with purpose at every turn.
Mission & Values
We value the environment, and all of our design and manufacturing procedures are focussed on delivering what the client needs, without compromising the natural world.
Our products are manufacture with PLA (PolyLactic Acid) and cast Acrylic.
PLA - a plant-based plastic made from renewable resources such as corn starch, cassava or sugar cane. This material is medically stable, fully wipeable with IPA, and bio-degradable.
Acrylic - Fully recyclable by most Local Authorities.
Our vehicles are primarily plug-in EVs. Any third party vehicle required will be as fuel efficient and as carbon neutral as possible.
The vast majority of our Product packaging is recycled/renewed cardboard, with any single-use plastic kept to a bare minimum.

Environmental Values
One-Percent Pledge
We are proud Scots and, as a part of the wider Scottish community, we pledge 1% of all INKStation profits (pre-tax) to a Scottish charitable cause.
The specific charity in receipt of income at any time will be made clear within our on-line and social feeds and will be informed by the personal experience of our founding directors and family.
We pledge a minimum of 1% of our staff time to support our chosen cause through volunteering if required by the charity.
